Cēsis – one of the oldest towns in Latvia is located 90 km from Riga. On this tour You will see the medieval historical centre with the ruins of the Livonian order mestr's castle (13th century), St. John’s church, and the old brewery. On the way you will visit the charming one of the oldest wooden manor house in the Baltic States Ungurmuiža (Orelen) and the Castle of Straupe. Rural areas of Latvia are beautiful. This excursion will take 7-8 hours. Excursion can be combined with Sigulda visit.
